    Ryan Knudson is the VP of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability for Macerich. Macerich is an owner/operator of high quality retail town centers through the United States. His responsibilities include the decarbonization of Macerich's assets including achieving carbon neutrality by 2030, Energy and Sustainability programs and investments, and ESG reporting and disclosures. Ryan has been in the Energy Management and Sustainability field for over 12 years and has overseen projects including the installation of advanced building automation systems, on-site generation systems including over 18 MW renewable energy systems, and 4 LEED Gold certifications.
