A licensed architect with over 15 years of experience, Rachel is instrumental in the design, documentation, and leadership of many innovative design projects at STUDIOS Architecture. She has worked on a broad range of project types from commercial interiors to building repositioning and K-12 education. Rachel serves as a leader on sustainability and has acted as the DC coordinator for STUDIOS’ 2030 commitment toward carbon neutrality. She has navigated various sustainability and code compliance paths and brings expertise on LEED v4 for Schools and DC Green Construction Code. Rachel graduated with a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University, where her thesis project focused on K-12 education and the design of an elementary school in Washington, DC. At Syracuse, she was the AIA Henry Adams Medal recipient for academic excellence and was the top graduating student of her class.
