Shannon Oliver has a BS degree in Environmental Health from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Health degree in Global Environmental Health from Emory University. His professional experience includes six years of air quality and environmental regulatory compliance for the oil and gas industry, and over seven years as the Manager of Energy & Sustainability at Adams 12 School District in north-Denver, Colorado. Recent focus of Shannon’s work has included collaborating with universities and the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health on assessing the impacts of air quality on student performance and health, and quantifying the effective air exchange rate in school buildings based on a variety of operating conditions. Adams 12 was also recognized for notable achievement by the DOE’s Efficient and Health Schools campaign in 2022.
