Jesce Walz is the Carbon and Circularity Research Lead at Perkins&Will, a global architecture firm. She approaches carbon assessment from a systems perspective, with focus on circular design as well as carbon-storing and innovative materials. At Perkins&Will, Jesce practices research-informed design and co-leads the firm’s Life Cycle Assessment efforts, contributing to methodology, case studies, tools, and strategic development to improve climate and health impacts across a broad portfolio of projects. Jesce has a background in both Architecture and Landscape Architecture and is actively engaged with the International Living Futures Institute, the American Institute of Architects, and the Carbon Leadership Forum.
