    Emily Reese serves as Jacobs’ Sustainability Director for Certifications & Compliance, providing leadership, expertise, and project coordination for all aspects of sustainability in the built environment. Her experience includes work on over 100 different projects utilizing third-party certifications programs including LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Envision, Living Building Challenge, Zero Energy, Parksmart, and Guiding Principles Compliance. She has served as the certification administrator for over 10 million SF of registered projects. As a designated LEEDuser Expert, she brings over 17 years’ experience to the USGBC community. Emily additionally helps integrate sustainability into projects not utilizing certification programs in order to meet client goals, and city, state, and Federal requirements. Emily’s objective is to help others associate sustainability and well-being with everyday project logic in order to realize the necessity of inclusion as standard practice rather than a specialty service.
    Emily holds BFAs in Sculpture and Interior Design, and an ALM in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard.
