Dr. Matt Mishkind is a faculty member with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus where he currently serves as the Deputy Director for the Johnson Depression Center, and Director of the Community Engagement Service. Dr. Mishkind is a certified QPR, VitalCog, and Mental Health First Aid trainer. He regularly trains on these and other topics and presents at professional conferences. He also holds SHRM-SCP and SHRM Veterans at Work certifications, and Mental Health First Aid for Veterans designation. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon and received both his M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, with a focus on Organizational Psychology, from the University of Vermont. He has over 45 publications and over 50 conference presentations primarily focused on improving access to behavioral health care.
