    Nick Elster

    Nick Elster is a California-based Architect with over 15 years of diverse professional experience in a range of housing typologies, as well as commercial and institutional projects at various scales. In his role as a Project Manager at Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects in San Francisco, he works on a range of environmentally sustainable, community-focused projects including multi-family housing for marginalized community members across the Bay Area. Recent work on the HomeRise at Mission Bay project, in partnership with public agencies and nonprofit housing developers helped deliver resilient permanent supportive housing to formerly homeless members of the changing Mission Bay community in San Francisco. Nick brings a deep commitment to social and environmental justice, and design equity to his work. His broad experience informs a practice of Architecture rooted in empathy and the humanity of those it serves.
