Nina Albert serves as the Commissioner of the Public Buildings Service (PBS) at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). As Commissioner, she is responsible for the leasing, construction and management of 370 million square feet (owned and leased) across the United States and six territories, and she leads real estate professionals who are among the nation’s leaders in historic preservation and sustainable buildings. Albert brings more than 20 years of experience in public real estate strategy and disposition, public-private partnerships, economic revitalization, and sustainable development to GSA.
Albert is a U.S. Army Signal Corps veteran, and she received degrees from Tufts
University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
