    Before creating BuildingWrx, Ms. Kaplan was Dir. of Sustainability for the Battery Park City Authority, involved in creating some of the first green multifamily residential buildings in the country.

    Ms. Kaplan, a LEED Fellow and former USGBC Sr. Fellow, is a founding co-chair of the USGBC's Social Equity Working Group and a former chair of the Urban Green Council, USGBC’s local NYC chapter. Ms. Kaplan is currently part of the advisory committees for LEED for Cities and immediate past advisory member of IWBI's WELL Community Advisory. She is also part of the advisory group for the nonprofit Sustainable Jersey City.
