Myrrh Caplan is the Senior Sustainability Director for Skanska Building in the United States.
She oversees sustainability efforts across the US, and leads a team that advises and manages projects seeking certification in LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge, ParkSmart, and others, as well as assists clients with organizational strategy-setting. Myrrh also leads Skanska’s initiatives in the US around carbon, community investment, and healthy buildings.
With over two decades in the construction and development industries, her resume includes more than 220 green and healthy projects, and accreditations in LEED, WELL, FitWel, Parksmart and Envision.
Myrrh’s most recent experience includes advising city clients and campus owners on the pursuit of Net Zero goals and on incorporating resiliency measures into their master planning. She is also currently an engaged co-chair on a number of community-oriented and national committees.
She lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia and spends her free time painting, gardening, and eternally trying to perfect playing the mandolin.
