Walter Tersch is a Sustainability Program Manager in GSA’s Office of Architecture and Engineering. He helps lead GSA’s efforts to reduce the embodied carbon impacts of construction materials, including through new requirements for Inflation Reduction Act projects. Walter is a LEED AP, with degrees in Environmental Law and Computer Science. In addition to 14 happy years at GSA, Walter has worked for law firms, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the City of Chicago. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, sailing, and parenthood.
