Jeremey Alcorn is a certified energy manager and currently serves as a Climate and Sustainability Officer for the Public Buildings Service, U.S. General Services Administration. He has over 20 years experience in sustainability, facility energy and water management, high performance buildings, renewable energy, greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation, climate risk and adaptation. Prior to joining GSA, he served as a consultant and provided hands-on, federal sector support developing sustainability programs; energy and water management programs and analysis tools; high performance building guidance and implementation plans; renewable energy deployment analyses; GHG reporting and mitigation; and climate risk management. He has authored publications on energy efficiency and renewable energy, alternative fuel sustainability, and implications of climate change on U.S. access to space. He holds a BS in Environmental Science and Political Science from Allegheny College and a MS in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University.
