Lydia is the Sustainability Manager for Turner Construction’s Seattle Business Unit. Before starting this role, she held numerous roles including Engineer, Estimator, and MEP Engineer. Combining her technical expertise with her understanding of environmental challenges and a commitment to creating a greener future, Lydia has become a leading advocate for sustainable practices in the construction industry. As the Sustainability Manager, she engages directly with project teams to raise awareness and inspire others to drive positive change on jobsites. She is at the front lines of implementing Turner’s ESG commitments, specializing in embodied carbon reduction, waste and circularity practices, jobsite emissions, energy efficiency, building certifications, mass timber construction, and resiliency. She actively collaborates with architects, engineers, and contractors to find and implement innovative solutions. Lydia received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. Outside of work, Lydia can be found trying new restaurants and hiking with her husband and beloved dog.
