Chad Dorgan leads Dorgan International, a consulting firm focused on driving sustainability from an organization’s core values, using quality foundational elements to establish a robust and integrated sustainability program.
Throughout Chad’s 30-plus year career in the engineering, consulting and construction industries, he has played a significant role in the evolution of sustainability in the built environment. Dr. Dorgan most recently was responsible for developing and driving Sustainability Solutions for SGS, the largest international test, inspection and certification company, working across the globe and through complex and deep supply chains.
For 15 years, Chad was the Vice President - Quality and Sustainability for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., a 100% employee-owned national construction company specializing in complex, high technology facilities such as hospitals, research laboratories and industrial plants.
Chad is a LEED Fellow of the United States Green Building Council and a Fellow member of ASHRAE. Chad has also been recognized with several industry awards, including the ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award and the 2004 Benner Award from the Building Commissioning Association for making commissioning business as usual. Dorgan graduated from the University of Wisconsin, with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. Indoor Air Quality.
